“What else do we expect from [Tiger]? He is not a Christian, why should we expect him to act any other way?”

Unfortunately, being a Christian does not inoculate us from temptation or running away from sinful opportunities. We should run from sin, but some of us (sex addicts) don't. We take a drink from the dirty cistern that the book of Proverbs warns about. We like the taste of that water because we do not want to see the consequences of our sin. We think we are above sin and can conquor the problem alone. And that is part of the problem, we like being alone on top of the pile of dung we addicts have created for ourselves.

Actually, we are no different than Tiger, EXCEPT, that when we are confronted with what we have done. We see the lives we destroyed and are contrite and turn from our wickedness, God is there when we feel the worst. He helps us clean up, stand up and yes...cheer up.
