OUR VISION
“Every one of our marriage seminars has been hosted in a local church and co-sponsored by other churches in those communities! As a former associate pastor, I believe in the crucial role a “healthy” church can play in the growth and ministry to every believer. We would love to partner with you in this new I Promise Marriage Seminar.” – Gary Smalley
“Our goal is to meet your families and couples where they are through transparency, which basically means that we do not hide from our own mistakes, but try and help others by sharing what we’ve learned through the years. And we believe a live event should be entertaining and enriching, allowing individuals to learn through laughter.” Michael and Amy Smalley

BENEFITS OF BEING A HOST CHURCH
- Bring nationally known speakers on marriage to your community: your church will continue its reputation and community service to bring events that connect to people both inside and outside your congregation!
- Strengthen marriages and build a spiritual wall of protection for families in your church.
- Lower the divorce-rate for marriages: Based on extensive research for 4 years, the biblical principles taught in the seminar and in the small group can impact marriages to stay intact with a major success rate.
- Use this event to launch more small groups. *Average sign up for small groups is 20%.
- Reaching community today means inviting friends, co-workers, and neighbors to events that are helpful, practical, fun and very community-friendly. This seminar has been used successfully to attract from 10-40% un-churched people.
- Smalley Relationship Center provides free tickets for pastors and their spouses in the community.
WHAT OTHERS SAY
“Security is everything in a marriage. It’s what every woman wants and what every man dreams of : a caring, secure marriage where each partner serves the other with equal love and faithfulness. In this seminar, Gary Smalley presents the essential ingredients of a secure, fulfilling, Christ-centered relationship.”
-Pastor Rick Warren, Saddleback Church Purpose-Driven Church & Life
“The church is sitting on an opportunity to proclaim the gospel at the greatest felt need of Western Civilization- the family. Using this conference as an outreach would be a great evangelistic event or just a great way to strengthen the families of your church.”
-Dennis Rainey, Family Life Ministry Director & radio host
“I think a conference like this really compliments what were trying to do as pastors. We can’t counsel everybody. We can’t sit down and spend 30 minutes with everybody. But we can provide these kinds of opportunities that are really going to make a difference in peoples lives.”
-Dr. Gary Chapman, author and speaker
“There are seminars and then there are seminars; as in attention-getting, heart stimulating and life-changing. This one is definitely in the latter category. If you’re looking for an encouragement transfusion, this Smalley Seminar cannot be beat.”
-Chuck Swindoll, author and pastor
“There’s no more important relationship in our lives, on the earth, than our relationship with our spouse, and it takes time to develop. It is something we have to prioritize. And this conference is the perfect opportunity to invest that time.”
-Beth Moore, author and speaker
