Okay, I’m not sure I have ever shared one of my dreams on the blog, but this one had to be shared. I’m going to need your help in interpreting the dream for me, because it is truly a mystery.  The other night I had the most vivid dream of my upper left lip getting cut.

I can honestly say that I do not remember in the dream how my upper left lip got cut, but the sensation of it getting cut and the pulsating of my upper lip was completely vivid in my dream.  It was like it actually happened it was so real.

So I woke up at about 6:00 a.m. and laid there thinking to myself how incredibly real that dream felt.  As I’m laying there in bed, I suddenly realize that my lip is still feeling like it was cut.  Which was strange because my lip had not been cut when I went to bed, but it was the exact same pulsating pain that I had felt in my dream. I almost pinched myself to see if I was actually awake.

Then, as if to confirm my mind was simply playing a trick on me, I reached up to my upper left lip to feel the area that was pulsating with pain and to my total shock my lip hurt from the touch of my finger.  At this point I flew out of bed and ran to the bathroom mirror to see what the heck was going on with my lip, and as I’m staring in the mirror I see an actual cut on my upper left lip!

It totally freaked me out because I’m telling you the truth that when I had gone to bed that evening, my lip was not cut.  Now does anyone have any idea what happened or what this might mean? Other than the fact that I must clearly be quite violent to myself when I am dreaming
